Famed ground breakingAfrican-American dancer and choreographer Arthur Mitchell was photographed by Jack Mitchell
in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's. Arthur Mitchell was the second African-American to join the New York City Ballet,
and went on to found the Dance Theatre of Harlem in 1969.
