Jack Mitchell Photograph Is Part of New Warhol Retrospective
A vintage 1971 Jack Mitchell gelatin silver photograph of Andy Warhol with the cast of his play “Pork” at La Mama is a part of the new exhibition “Andy Warhol – From A to B and Back Again” which opened November 12, 2018 at the Whitney Museum of American Art in Manhattan. The Jack Mitchell photograph and two others in color from
the same session are also published in the Exhibition Catalogue.
This is the first comprehensive retrospective of Warhol's work organized by an American institution since 1989,
and the largest monographic exhibition to date at the Whitney's new location.
